SMHC is a long term mental health in- patient treatment & rehabilitation centre.  SMHC is a 269 bed, Accredited Provincial Psychiatric Hospital .  Included in the services are the specialty functions such as: Forensic Services, Short Term & Acute Chronic Treatment. 

SMHC works with patients, families and the community to assure recovery for all patients.
