of Ceremonies, Joseph Smolinski, welcomed honored guests to
a wonderful night of fellowship and appreciation for the achievements
of 7 program participant and district employers.

Jack
Jonasson, thanked Colleen Sklar, Chairperson of the Selkirk,
St. Andrews, St. Clements Library Board, for being the keynote
speaker of the evening, as well as, all sponsors of the Achievement
Awards and the current program and administration sponsors.

Jack
Jonasson also thanked Carmen Hathaway of Abenaki
Artworks, who designed the award. The award is a
stained glass piece that has a picture of a tree growing and
reaching up with branches representing the stages of life.
There are beams of light representing the four colours of
human kind - black, white, red and yellow. The tree is encased
in a circle representing the world of knowledge that comes
to the Centre from around the world.
